Biographie

After many years of collaborating with Family Sound and Montreal artists, Ibn Raad is finally launching his first solo project with Makoka Productions entitled ‘Rebirth’ to be released in the summer of 2017. Through conscious lyrics and an emotionally involved delivery, this artist aims to share the process by which his weaknesses transmuted into strengths, his insecurities into confidence and how his pain evolved into love. Heart on his sleeve, Ibn Raad takes you on a journey with the help of many artists that he has collaborated with through the years such as Lord Diamen, King Shadrock, Aldo Guizmo, The Counterfeit Tragedy and Mc Rain. Now based in the Northern Inuit community of Kuujjuaq, he is working on his music and recording young Inuit artists. Much more to come from this vibe with Makoka Productions!

Après deux albums avec Family Sound et quelques ‘featurings’ avec des artistes Montréalais, Ibn Raad lance son premier projet solo intitulé ‘Rebirth’ en collaboration avec Makoka Productions. L’album sera disponible à l’été 2017. C’est avec des paroles consciencieuses que cet artiste partage avec ses émotions le processus à travers lequel ses faiblesses se sont transformés en force, ses insécurités en confiance et la souffrance en amour. Avec le coeur sur la main, Ibn Raad vous fait voyager dans son univers à l’aide de Lord Diamen, King Shadrock, Aldo Guizmo, The Counterfeit Tragedy et Mc Rain. Travaillant maintenant dans la communauté Inuit de Kuujuaq dans le Nord Canadien, il travaille sur sa musique et enregistre des jeunes artistes Inuits.
